Dr. Dana Johnson 

Dr. Dana Johnson has practiced law for over 20 years, primarily in the areas of domestic relations, civil rights, and employment related matters.  Dana has represented clients in all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody, visitation, child support and alimony. She has completed specific training on the complexities of mediating divorce cases.


She also has extensive experience in litigating civil rights and employment discrimination cases, including those actions arising under Title VII and Title IX, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Equal Pay Act, as well as civil rights cases arising under 42 USC Section 1983. Dana is a registered neutral with the Georgia ODR and has served extensively as a Guardian ad Litem.


Prior to her legal career, Dana was a teacher and school administrator in the field of exceptional child education with speciality areas of specific learning disabilities and emotional disturbances.  In addition to her JD degree, Dana has a PhD in education.  At the university level, Dana has taught graduate classes in school law, behavioral science statistics and classroom management. The combination of Dana’s career in education and her legal experience in the areas of domestic relations, civil rights, and employment related matters has equipped Dana to mediate complex disputes arising out of these diverse areas of the law.
