Bert King has handled hundreds of mediations in a wide range of disciplines over the past 25 years. As a former insurance defense lawyer who now represents plaintiffs, Bert resolves personal injury and wrongful death cases of all types. He uses his business degrees and his past experience as an associate real estate broker to handle a variety of real estate and business mediations including contract disputes, defective construction cases, title issues, the partition of property among co-owners, and the division of real estate among heirs.
As an active probate attorney, Bert also handles disputes arising out of estates, whether or not the deceased had a Will. With over 30 years of legal experience, Bert brings a wealth of ideas to the table to help parties resolve their differences.
Bert’s trial experience and his years of mediation practice combine to assist parties in resolving even the most complex issues in innovative ways. Bert has trained other lawyers how to mediate
and is always developing new techniques for problem solving.
While Bert focuses on mediating cases, he is also registered with the Georgia ODR in arbitration and early case evaluation. Bert is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals as well as the Georgia Chapter.
