Neal B. Graham is a partner in the law firm of Buzzell, Graham & Welsh, LLP. He has practiced law in Middle Georgia for over 30 years. Born and raised in Macon, Neal is very familiar with the employers and businesses in this area and the problems that face injured workers in Middle Georgia. Neal has served as the mediator in several complex workers’ compensation cases and has succeeded in resolving disputes between employers and insurers. Neal has expertise in navigating such collateral issues as medical liens, Medicare and Medicaid issues, as well as problems with MSA’s and other complexities that are often an integral part of workers’ comp settlements. Even where one or both parties are not familiar with the complexities of workers’ comp law, Neal’s experience guides the parties through the pertinent issues and makes sure they are resolved in accordance with the Workers’ Compensation Act and the Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation.
Neal has handled a multitude of workers’ comp hearings and has tried many comp cases. He has also tried cases in front of juries in other areas of the law. This litigation practice has made Neal familiar with the rules of evidence in all types of litigation. Neal can offer insight into the likelihood of the rulings that could be made by Administrative Law Judges and The State Board of Workers’ Compensation. The parties can utilize Neal’s experience in evaluating the merit and value of their cases. While Neal’s focus is on mediating workers’ comp matters, he is also equipped to mediate disputes arising out of automobile collisions, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and other types of cases. (Neal’s resume is available upon request.)
